The International Haitian Orthopedic Grand Rounds

Advancing orthopedic surgical excellence through global collaboration.

This historic session served as the inspiration for what has now evolved into the IHOGR.

Global Collaboration. Local Impact.

The International Haitian Orthopedic Grand Rounds (IHOGR) serves as a specialized academic bridge, connecting the global orthopedic community with the unique clinical challenges of low-resource environments. We recognize that standard Western protocols often require 'austere adaptation'; therefore, our platform prioritizes the delivery of high-yield, evidence-based surgical strategies specifically tailored for regions where medical infrastructure, hardware availability, and perioperative support are limited.By fostering a continuous exchange between Haitian surgeons and international experts, IHOGR is not merely a lecture series—it is a capacity-building engine designed to optimize musculoskeletal outcomes, refine trauma-management techniques, and develop sustainable, locally-led surgical excellence.

Institutional Partners

Our mission is sustained through the strategic collaboration of leading global medical institutions and surgical societies dedicated to advancing orthopedic education in Haiti and worldwide. By uniting international academic expertise with local clinical leadership, we foster a longitudinal partnership that strengthens surgical residency programs and elevates the standard of musculoskeletal care globally.
